Which Chats and Channels Belong to the Network?

Section titled “Which Chats and Channels Belong to the Network?”

The full table lives on the Welcome page.

Read the Network Rules for conduct, and the Controlled Content policy for banned and controlled artists, characters, and kinks (§ 13). The current entries are always on the Banned & Controlled page. Also keep in mind § 11 (spoiler real-life NSFW) and § 15 (no AI images).

§ 9 says advertising needs approval from a moderator first. Advertising is any post whose purpose is to send people somewhere else or to get them to spend money.

Needs approval:

ExampleWhy it counts
”Come join my Telegram group / Discord server: t.me/…”Invite to another community
”Commissions open! 3 slots, $40 for a sketch”Sale
”Adoptable batch, DM to claim” or “YCH, bids start at $20”Sale
”Support me on Patreon / Ko-fi / Boosty / Fansly for exclusive art”Paid or subscription platform
”Please vote for my entry / boost my server / retweet this”Asking people to promote something
”My friend opened commissions, here is their sheet”Promotion on behalf of somebody else
Posting the same link in several network chatsCross-posting a promotion

Does not need approval:

ExampleWhy it is fine
Posting a piece you drew, with no sales pitch attachedSharing your own art
”You can find me on Bluesky / FA / Twitter as @…”Telling people where to follow you
Posting somebody else’s art with a link to the sourceCrediting the artist
Answering “where can I commission you?” when somebody asksReplying to a direct question
Linking a wiki, tutorial, or tool that is useful to the conversationNot promotion

Unsure which side a post lands on? Ask a moderator before posting it. Permission is per post, not forever.

How Do the Banned & Controlled Lists Get Updated?

Section titled “How Do the Banned & Controlled Lists Get Updated?”

The moderation team edits them through pull requests on GitHub; the Banned & Controlled page is rebuilt from that data on every merge. If you think an entry is missing or wrong, tell a member of staff.

The staff structure is explained on the Roles & Teams page: owners, head admins, admins, and moderators, plus the four teams they organize into.

Ask an admin or an owner!

Who Do I Contact if Someone Is Causing Problems?

Section titled “Who Do I Contact if Someone Is Causing Problems?”

Any of the staff; do not fight it out in the chat (§ 4.2). If the person causing problems is a member of staff, report them to a different admin or to someone above their role (§ 4.3).
