Every rule has a permanent number (§ 1, § 2, …) and is broken down into numbered clauses (§ 1.1, § 1.2, …), each with its own heading. A clause is the unit you get warned or banned under: staff cite the clause, not the rule.

The rules follow an amendment style: nothing is silently edited. When a rule needs to say more, a new clause is added to that rule with the next free number. When a clause needs to change, it is reworded in place and the change is recorded in the Amendment Log. Clause numbers are never reused, and a clause that stops applying is kept, struck through, so the history stays readable.

Occasionally a clause in one rule touches another rule. When that happens it says so in its text (“see § 4.2”), so you can always follow the pointer.

Where a clause exists because of something that happened, it says so: “Introduced because of incident …” links to the incident record.

Some rules carry a marker under their title:

  • 💥 Frequently broken marks a rule that gets broken a lot, usually by accident. Read those twice.

You must be 18 or over. Every space in the network is adult in nature, even the ones that are safe for work.

Complete the joining process, including age verification, before entering any chat.

You may be let in without ID if a trusted member attests to staff that you are 18 or over. If that turns out false, the attester is treated as having broken this rule too.

Verification is done once and is valid in every chat of the network.

A driving license or a national ID that shows your date of birth. Staff do not store your documentation; delete it from the chat yourself once you are verified.

Discrimination in any shape or form is not tolerated.

Racial slurs are not allowed, in any context.

Jokes are not a loophole. Admins decide what is a joke and what is discrimination, and act accordingly.

If an admin asks you to drop the topic at hand, drop it, even if you believe no line was crossed.

Discrimination based on ethnicity is explicitly prohibited, not only discrimination based on race. Grouping people by their ethnic background, or judging anybody on the basis of it, is banned. Introduced because of incident 260819.

This applies no matter which ethnic group is being talked about. Claims like “white people can’t experience racism” break this rule: they judge a person by the group they were born into. Introduced because of incident 260819.

Do not call for, threaten, or glorify violence against anyone, inside or outside the network. Disagree as hard as you like; leave violence out of it.

Do not create drama, provoke other members, or make a scene.

If someone is causing you harm, do not fight it out in the chat. Report it to the staff. Your report becomes a ticket handled by one assigned admin, as described in the Moderation Strategy.

Staff are held to these rules too. If a member of staff is the problem, do not argue with them in the chat: report them to a different admin, or to someone above their role, via the staff page.

When somebody disagrees with you, your first reaction must not be “fuck off”, “shut up”, or anything in that family. Being right does not earn a pass on how you say it; neither does being upset. Introduced because of incident 260819.

Explain yourself once, calmly, or step away. If the other person will not let it go, report it under § 4.2 instead of escalating. This applies to members and staff alike. Introduced because of incident 260819.

No drama does not mean no discussion. Disagreements are part of talking, and civil discussion, debate included, is welcome as long as it stays within these rules. This rule targets how people argue, not whether they do.

Do not share, or threaten to share, anybody’s personal information without their consent: legal name, address, workplace, phone number, photos, or accounts they keep separate from their sona.

It does not matter who the target is, what they did, whether they are still here, or whether the information is “already out there”. Doxxing can be a crime and exposes the doxxer and the people running the chat to legal consequences.

Doxxing is a ban on the first offense.

If someone’s safety is genuinely at stake, tell the staff privately instead of posting.

Do not use Telegram’s “post as channel” feature in any chat of the network. A channel cannot be moderated like a person and makes dodging a mute trivial.

Messages posted as a channel may be deleted without warning. Doing it repeatedly is treated as moderation evasion.

To share something from your channel, forward the post from your own account.

Do not ask for admin powers, a moderator badge, or any other special treatment. They are not handed out on request.

If you want to help run the place, reach out to an owner or an admin via the staff page.

Do not join and leave repeatedly. It floods the chat with service messages.

After 3 iterations, you will be banned.

Do not advertise without permission from an admin or moderator.

Permission once is not permission forever. Every ad is approved beforehand.

Any post meant to send people elsewhere or get them to spend money: invites to other groups or servers, commissions, adoptables, YCHs, paid or subscription platforms, vote/boost/share requests, and promotion on behalf of others.

Sharing your own art, saying where to follow you, sourcing somebody else’s work, or answering a direct question. See the FAQ for examples. Unsure? Ask a moderator.

💥 Frequently broken

Albums are allowed up to 10 images.

There is no set cooldown, but do not flood. Give others room to talk between your posts.

Never speaking and only posting images is also spam.

Real-life NSFW content is allowed only when spoilered: images, videos, gifs, and anything suggestive or lewd.

If you are not sure whether something needs a spoiler, ask an admin before posting it.

Political discussion is allowed as long as the wording is respectful and members exercise caution around anything that may be uncomfortable. Anything banned elsewhere in these rules stays banned in a political discussion.

Admins can shut down a political discussion at their discretion. When they do, it is over.

💥 Frequently broken

Do not post work by an artist on the banned list, stickers included.

Do not post art in which a banned character appears, stickers included, no matter who drew it.

Do not post content featuring a banned kink or tag.

Content on the controlled list may only be posted behind a spoiler, with a content warning. How the lists work is explained in the Controlled Content policy.

Do not share paysite content unless it has been publicly posted somewhere.

Sharing with the artist’s permission is fine.

AI-generated images are not allowed anywhere in the network, spoilered or not.

Individuals with enough complaints against them may be kicked, timed out, or banned from the chats and the network.

Rules apply from the moment they are adopted. Nobody is warned, muted or banned for something that was allowed when they did it.

A closed case is not reopened, and the same facts are not judged twice. A new rule or clause does not reopen cases closed before it.

If offenses that were not known at the time come to light after a case is closed, they form a new case. Only the new facts are judged. This is rare and is meant to stay rare.

Non-consensual content is a sexual act done to a character who is shown suffering it (afraid, crying, begging for it to stop, fighting a struggle meant to be real) with nothing in the piece showing that it is play. It is not allowed anywhere in the network, spoilered or not. It is the Rape entry of the banned list, so posting it also breaks § 13.3.

Consensual non-consent (CNC) is play in which a character acts as though they do not want what is happening, while everyone involved has agreed to it. CNC is welcome here. Because CNC and non-consensual content can look alike on the surface, the clauses below say how the two are told apart.

What matters is not whether a character says no, but whether anyone in the piece is shown suffering (§ 18.1). No suffering means no spoiler (§ 18.4). Suffering with a frame that shows it is play means controlled (§ 18.5). Suffering with no such frame is non-consensual content (§ 18.6). Authority (a boss, a guard, a teacher) is not a category of its own: the same test applies.

These are CNC and need no spoiler, as long as nobody in the piece is shown suffering: punishment a character asked for, surprise sex and free use between partners, bratting and playing hard to get, chase and primal play, restraint, somnophilia, dubious consent, heat and instinct, hypnosis and mind control, and danger play, where the other party is bigger or dangerous and the character wants them anyway (Mal0 stepping out of the TV).

18.5 Controlled: Suffering, Framed as Play

Section titled “18.5 Controlled: Suffering, Framed as Play”

A piece that shows suffering played straight, but also shows that it is play, is controlled: post it only behind a spoiler, with a content warning, as the CNC entry of the controlled list requires (§ 13.4). A frame is something inside the post itself: a negotiation scene, a safeword, aftercare, a character breaking character, or an out-of-character note between the people roleplaying.

Suffering with no frame is non-consensual content, whatever the caption says. “This is CNC” written next to a post is not a frame; the piece has to carry the signal itself. Unsure? Ask a moderator first, as § 11.2 says.
