The network divides all staff responsibilities into two different scopes: roles (how much and what kind of authority someone holds) and teams (what area they specialize in).

Roles form a strict hierarchy: each role answers to the one above it. The full structure and the reasoning behind it are on the Moderation Strategy page.

RoleDescription
OwnerThe highest point of contact and responsibility. The owners must appeal to staff and members alike while keeping the network enjoyable. Under emergencies they coordinate everyone else and make the final decisions.
Head AdminLeads one team and is its point of contact for the owners. Coordinates the admins of their team and represents it towards the other teams.
AdminRuns part of a team under its Head Admin. Admins act with freedom within their scope, but may be subject to reactions from their Head Admin and the owners.
ModeratorMost of the staff. Moderators hold the day-to-day powers within the scope of their Admin (a specific platform, chat, or team) and hold the most responsibility there because they hold the most context.

Teams (also called coordination groups) define a scope for different members of the staff. Each team is led by its Head Admin; admins run parts of it and moderators specialize within it. Head Admins act as coordinators between their team and the others, and the owners step in when needed.

Teams that touch a platform exist once per platform: there is a Telegram Moderation team, a Discord Moderation team, and a VRChat Moderation team, each with its own Head Admin. Network Logistics is a single team for the whole network. Who sits on which team is on the Staff page.
